Well we have officially kicked off now after 3 months of soft launch and while we won’t be mistaken for pure professionals anytime soon, we’ve certainly come a long way since October!
Thanks to everyone who joined us for our 6+ hour livestream on New Year’s Eve. This was an absolute blast and we were amazed at the response from friends, new friends who have found & followed us during the soft launch, and those of you who found or followed us for the first time on New Year’s Eve. We appreciate every single one of you and feel amazed to see how many of you already love what we’re doing and are supporting us in moving ahead.
Every single one of you rocks!
We also know a lot of you weren’t able to make it because, New Year’s Eve, we get it, but that doesn’t mean you can’t catch up on the chaos of our official launch.
We have Part 1 and Part 2 (Thanks to a technical difficulty that brought us down for 45 seconds or so – blame Braden’s laptop and/or wall outlet) here so you can catch up on the fun.
Highlights Include:
- Very competitive games of Sushi-Go
- Two truly chaotic games of Hex-Hex
- The “I Am a Meteor” Story from a Tabletop RPG game gone awry
- The appearance of the always delightful Commissar Hans
- The always amazing & entertaining Chat
- A truly great finish to Red Dragon Inn (with Braden the Innkeeper)
- The only 20 minute game of “We Didn’t Play Test This” card game ever
Special thanks to James, PJ, and Ben who could all stop in for the New Year’s Eve board game mini-marathon and we’re sure they’ll be showing up again in the future. Phil (aka Fiiieeeeellllllll) will be back on Thursday as will St. Christopher the Returned who we wish happy healing from shoulder surgery.
Thanks to everyone for the continued support. We look forward to seeing you all on Thursday, and if you want to support us even more please follow us on Twitch if you haven’t already or you can even support us on Patreon.
Happy New Year!

He is a long-time player of board games, one time semi-professional poker player, and tends to run to the quirky or RPG side of things when it comes to playing video games. He loves tabletop roleplaying systems like Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, Werewolf, Fate, and others, and not only has been a player but has run games as DM for years. You can find his other work in publications like Level Skip or Hobby Lark.
